How lovely it was to start 2012, saying hello to our families and welcoming new families, the centre feels familiar and warm with our children quickly linking up with old friends and making new friends, even our little babies have settled into routine very quickly.
I hope that you all had a lovely Christmas and a good break, all the staff and I wish you a very Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year. By now you would have received your events calendar for the year and your parent’s book! If not ask your Director for same.
The staff will be asking you for family photos Grandma, Grandad, Mum, Dad and other siblings a s the topic for the beginning of the term will be “getting to know us” and people in our neighbourhood.
The children really enjoyed the fruits of their labour, they helped to make their garden platter tomatoes, cucumber, capsicum etc. I can tell you there was nothing left on the plate. AT the moment we have 2 rockmelons..... I say ‘‘AT THE MOMENT’’ we have to outsmart the bush turkeys, they love them gobble gobble ..... all gone- want a turkey at your place?
A very special thank you to those families who took time to express their gratitude to my family and our staff for the care and fabulous preparations for school. Thank you again.
