About Nurseryland Childcare

For 50 years Nurseryland Child Care Brisbane Early Learning Centres have been developing and implementing educational programs for each age group. These programs are constantly reviewed and revised in accordance with the latest research into child development and are used as the basis for planning teaching strategies in the early learning environment. Our pre-school programs also follow school readiness guidelines as set by the State. Our centres are Licensed and fully accredited, also kindergarten approved. The centre’s pre-school children, have a degree qualified primary and early childhood teacher.

Our Environment

At Nurseryland Childcare we take pride in our proactive and unique manner in which we operate. We strive to provide quality education and care in the best astmosphere for learning.

Learn By play

Nurseryland children develop effective thinking with our ‘Learn through Play’ (with intellegent direction and skillful execution and a wise choice of many alternatives) care programs. This process focuses on constructing appropriate questions, recognising and applying relational concepts (such as cause, same, different), giving reasons and examples, making connections and distinctions, drawing out implications and intentions, searching for criteria, and striving for consistency.

Why us

Our Mission & Vision

“Quality education and care with intelligent direction and skilful execution  in the best possible learning environment.”

A Word

From Our Principal

“My husband and I opened our first centre 50 years ago, in 1969, what a journey we have had! Lots of laughter with the children, sometimes tears with the parents, our care centres enjoy a very caring and vibrant community spirit. Our centres to this day are family owned and operated! We are privileged and honoured, many of our past students come to visit me, in fact they are amazed to see I am still around and enjoying the company of my little ones.”

– Shirley Baker
